Tulane at Tulsa

Two bad teams meet up in this one, and Tulane won last year's matchup, 62-28, but is a small underdog this week. Tulane had a big win, 40-24, over Memphis before losing to Cincinnati and SMU, but Tulsa has lost six in a row and has yet to beat an FBS team this season. The Golden Hurricane had a 2-10 record in 2017 and was next-to-last in the country with only six touchdown passes, and things haven't improved much this year. The Hurricane was shut out 23-0 by Arkansas while gaining only 260 yards of offense, and redshirt freshman QB Seth Boomer completed only eight of 25 passes for 127 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. Tulane did put up a fight against SMU, but were done in by a 67-yard touchdown pass by Mustangs QB Ben Hicks late in the fourth quarter. Tulane's defense held the Mustangs to just 36 rushing yards, and the Green Wave was barely out-yarded 327-321.
