The Green Wave have not won more than four football games since the ‘04-‘05 season. Instead of turning the corner, they have regressed. They won two games in ‘08-‘09, and last year they won just two vs. Div-1 programs. Those two wins were a 1-point victory over Army and an OT win vs. UTEP, so they came close to not winning any. This season they are already 0-2 vs. Div-1 programs. They have not been competitive vs. the power conferences where they are 0-7 in their last seven, getting outscored by a combined score of 62-256. That is 27.7 points per game on average, so Rutgers should have no problem in this one, catching a big number. Rutgers currently ranks No. 17 in fewest yards allowed per game out of 120 teams. Tulane comes in ranked No. 104 in offense, having allowed their QB to be sacked 11 times already. The Green wave hasn’t had much bite vs. teams with a winning record at 6-20 ATS in their last 26, as well as going 2-10 ATS in their last 12 as a dog of 10.5+ points. Under Greg Schiano, the Scarlet Knights are 25-15 ASTS in non-conference games. I like Rutgers to roll here.
