Both these teams have had good seasons, with Rice entering at 8-3 and Tulane at 7-4. Rice has won seven of eight, which is driving the line here, but it hasn't been easy as they have struggled against some mediocre opponents. Rice beat UAB by just three in overtime, lost to North Texas, barely beat UT San Antonio, needed overtime vs. Tulsa, and beat FAU by just four. They need to play better than that vs. a competent Tulane team that has been terrific on the road vs. a team with a winning home record at 6-0 ATS in their last six. The Green Wave has also gotten the money in five of the last seven in this series. Under head coach Curtis Johnson, Tulane is 12-4 ATS in late-season play. Make the play on Tulane in this one.
