Troy lost head coach Jon Sumrall and a ton of experience and talent. They're rebuilding under Gerad Parker, the former Notre Dame offensive coordinator. QB Goose Crowder has stepped in as the starter. They lost the opener, 28-26, at home to Nevada as a -7.5 favorite with the defense surrendering 393 yards (214 rushing). Memphis is home and one of the favorites to win the American Athletic Conference. Four-year starting QB Seth Henigan works behind an experienced offensive line. He threw for 308 yards in the opener, a 40-0 shutout of North Alabama. Last season, he threw 32 TDs and just nine picks.
