Troy at Idaho

These teams have fared better in the early going as they combine to enter this game at 5-3. Troy has already had an upset win vs Southern Miss, and came ever so close to the upset of the year, losing to Clemson by just 30-24. The Trojans held the high-powered Clemson offense to just 414 yards. This team has been all about turnovers, and that has helped keep their opponents off the scoreboard as they have 12 takeaways already on the season. Idaho is barely completing 50% of their passes this season, and will have to have success running the ball to be able to score enough to push this OVER, but have not been able to do that against anyone but FBS Montana State. I think Troy is going to have to really score big here to put this game OVER the top, but other than Power-5 conference opponents, the Vandals have shown enough defense to say that doesn't happen.
