Towson at Cincinnati

Towson opened last season stepping up and struggled, giving up 38 points and 449 yards to Maryland. Two years ago, they had a September game at West Virginia and surrendered 65 points. At least the offense returns seniors QB Nathan Kent (14 TDs, 6 INTs) and TE Carter Runyon (533 yards). Cincinnati is a powerhouse running team that ran for 2,605 averaging 5 yards per carry. The entire offensive line returns along with RB Corey Kiner (1,047 yards). The defense has new looks all over and struggled. Last year, the Bearcats beat Eastern Kentucky in the opener, 66-13, and two years ago crushed Kennesaw State in September at home, 63-10. Take Towson/Cincinnati OVER the total.
