Texas Tech at West Virginia

The Texas Tech Red Raiders know one thing and that is offense. They may have a few more issues in this one, however, as West Virginia is amongst the better defensive teams in the Big-12. The Mountaineers are limiting opponents to about a yard fewer per play than their season-to-date average, and have been a strong defender of the pass, which is what the Red Raider offense is built upon.Texas Tech has not been nearly as high scoring the last two meetings here where they have averaged just 30.5 points per game, and this is an even better West Virginia defense. The West Virginia offense has mustered just 24.5 ppg over their last four, and will need to make a much bigger contribution to push this one over the 80-point mark, and I just don't see it getting there. Tech has played UNDER in four of their last five vs. a losing team, while West Virginia owns an 11-1 mark to the UNDER in their last 12 on field turf. Take the UNDER in this one.
