Texas Tech at Texas

The Texas Longhorns have come up short most of the season. They are 4-6 and have to beat Texas Tech at home on Thanksgiving, then travel to Baylor and win there to become Bowl eligible, which is a very unlikely scenario. Texas somehow played their game of the season against Oklahoma, but since that game, we have not seen anything close to the effort they made against the Sooners. Their last game may have been their worst all season in a five turnover debacle against West Virginia. Texas Tech has a lot of shortcomings on defense, but the attack has generated more than 590 yards per game on the season more than makes up for it. The biggest problem the Horns are going to have here is keeping up, as their below average offense is not going to be able to take advantage of all the shortcomings of the Red Raider defense. Texas Tech is 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games, and the Horns have struggled at home vs. a team with a winning road record just 7-15 ATS in their last 22. Take the points on Texas Tech.
