Texas Tech at Iowa State

Kansas has been the Big-12 door mat in recent years, but after the Jayhawks pounded the Cyclones 34-14, it appears that we have a new punching bag in the Big-12, at least for this season. Iowa State owns just two wins this season and just one at home, but that came against a MAC team. They have lost by 20 points at home to a non-FBS team, and just lost to a poor Kansas team by 20. To put it mildly, the Cyclones are a mess. Iowa State has managed just 14 points in each of their last two games, while allowing 30+ in each of their last six. Texas Tech is far from an elite team, but they have a strong offense that exploits weak defenses, and they will have their say in the outcome of this game. The Red Raiders are off a much needed bye, and they have been 5-1 ATS in their lst six off a bye. A telltale sign for Iowa State has been their failure to generate 100 yards or more rushing in their last game, as they have followed by going 10-29-1 ATS in their last 40 after failing to do so. Take Texas Tech.
