Texas State at South Alabama

South Alabama lost big at Oklahoma State, but the Jaguars are 6-0 UNDER their last six games following an ATS loss dating to last season and 7-1 UNDER its last eight after any loss. Also, the Jaguars have stayed UNDER in four of their last five conference games and nine of their last 13 overall.  Meanwhile, Texas State has gone UNDER in 10 of its last 14 conference games and four of its last five road contests. Texas State managed only seven points in its only game against an FBS school this season while South Alabama scored only 13 points against the Cowboys. The Jaguars rushed for only 78 yards on 37 carries and Evan Orth went 14-of-25 for 119 yards with a touchdown and interception. The Jaguars did not score in the second half against Oklahoma State. Texas State held Texas Southern to 36 yards on 20 rushing attempts for 1.8 yards per carry last week. South Alabama has not scored more than 26 points its last seven games going back to 2017.
