Texas vs. Oklahoma

The oddsmakers can't seem to make the total high enough for Oklahoma, but this is one instance where it will be too high. Texas is averaging 31.7 points, which is #60 in the country while allowing only 25.2 points. Two of the last four meetings have stayed UNDER and just two years ago the Sooners won 29-24 and it went UNDER by 8.5 points. Also, the defenses will make adjustments after the first meeting this season when Texas upset the Sooners 48-45 on Oct. 6. The Longhorns have won three in a row and have given up a total of 27 points their last two games against Iowa State and Kansas, and the Jayhawks scored all of their points in the fourth quarter. Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger went 16-of-28 for 154 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions against the Jayhawks, who had 296 yards of offense compared to 303 for the Longhorns. Texas is 5-0 UNDER its last five December games and 42-17 UNDER its last 59 conference games. Also, the Longhorns are 25-10 UNDER their last 35 when following a win. Oklahoma has stayed UNDER in seven of its last 10 neutral-site games and surprisingly the Sooners are 15-3-1 UNDER their last 19 December games. Take the UNDER.
