Texas at West Virginia

It has been a tough road for what was once of the top programs in the country over a long period of time. The Texas Longhorns were used to being a Top 10 team, but after 15 winning seasons over a 16-year period the Longhorns, at 5-5, could be headed for a fourth straight losing season. They will have a tough time facing a West Virginia team that is 7-3 on the season, losing only to Virginia Tech, TCU, and Oklahoma State. The Mountaineers offense has been steady, producing at least 20 points in every game to a tough schedule of opponents. Texas has had two weeks in their last four games where they were not able to top the 10-point mark on offense. Texas has been able to defend, but the offensive woes have left them a one-dimensional team, and that has made things difficult vs. a competent opponent. Play on West Virginia.
