Texas at Oklahoma State

This is supposed to be the year Texas gets back on the map as an elite FBS program. That took a setback last week as they went to California, and lost to the Bears in a shootout 50-43. Oklahoma State would like to seduce the Long Horns into another shootout, but they have two problems. Texas is not going to be baited into that again, and Oklahoma State has a QB in Shane Buechele who suffered a chest injury in his last game. He will likely start, but how effective will he be? Oklahoma State has already struggled to score in an upset loss against Central Michigan, and again last week vs. Baylor where they were limited to 24 points. Texas has run the ball over 55 times a game through their first three, and expect them to do the same here. The Horns are certainly good enough in the air, as long as they have favorable down and distance. The Horns have been a great UNDER play on the road vs. teams that complete 58% or more of their passes at 6-0 to the UNDER over the last three years. The Horns are also 6-0 to the UNDER the last three years after allowing 42 points or more in their previous game. Make the play on the UNDER.
