Tennessee-Martin at Kansas State

Kansas St. will enter the season as the number 18th ranked team in the country, and have high expectations. While this may look like an easy game for the Wildcats at home, they will be tested by a very good Tennessee Martin team that is expected to make a run for the FCS Title. The Skyhawks have won three straight Ohio Valley Conference Championships and believe they have what it takes to take it all the way. Kansas St. is 23-2 SU in Game 1 over the last 25 seasons. Kansas St. is excited to have Avery Johnson at QB. He played in several games as a freshman last year, and his one start resuted in a Bowl Game MVP. The Kansas St. offense is full of playmakers and they should thrive with Johnson at the helm. The Skyhawks have had 11 games vs FBS opponents in their history and have yet to win one. They have competed offensively, but have not been able to stop their quicker opponents leading to 9 of the 11 games with toatals going OVER. I like the OVER in this one.
