Temple at South Florida

The Temple Owls made a meteoric rise over the past few seasons. But the coach has moved on and a lot of the key players from those teams have as well, so I expect this team to take a turn back down this season. The biggest losses have occurred on the offensive side of the ball for the Owls, and they have averaged just 20.3 points per game through their first three contests. The scoring is despite opponents such as the FCS's Villanova, and Umass, who are 0-4. South Florida has an elite QB in Flowers, but they lost their best running back. This is still a potent offense, but Temple has faced them before, and while I don't think they are going to stop the Bulls from scoring, I think they can keep them from going off. Overall, this is a very high total for a weeknight game, when preparation is limited, so I expect Temple to try to shorten the game and do a lot more running than usual. Make the play on the UNDER.
