Temple at South Florida

Two bad teams meet in this matchup, but at least South Florida was competitive while losing 32-31 to Tulsa last week and the Bulls covered as a 7.5-point underdog. Timmy Mcclain threw for 148 yards and Jaren Mangham rushed for 75 yards for USF but Tulsa scored two fourth-quarter TDs to erase a 31-20 deficit and get the win. Temple caught Cincinnati in a letdown spot after the Bearcats beat Notre Dame, but it didn't matter as the Owls were buried 52-3. Temple is allowing 33.8 points per game and already has a 61-14 loss to Rutgers and a 28-3 defeat versus Boston College. South Florida has covered three of the last four meetings and Temple is 4-10 ATS its last 14 games overall and 1-5 ATS its last six games against teams with losing records. Also, the Owls have covered just twice in seven games following a loss. Take South Florida.
