Temple at Connecticut

The University of Connecticut Huskies are not in a good place offensively right now. They are down to one quarterback, and have had to use another that was supposed to redshirt as one time starter Casey Cochran has quit football due to his fourth concussion. The Huskies have no running game either, as through four games, and a modest schedule at best, they have generated just 260 rushing yards. Despite that, the QB concerns saw them throw just 10 passes last week at South Florida as they shortened the game to 105 plays. Temple has a limited offense as well ranking at #96, and the Huskies' "D" has been above average to this point, so this game should see fewer plays run with a pair of offenses that are sub-par. The Owls allowed less than 100 yards rushing last week, so don't expect UConn to find their running game. Temple has also been 11-4 to the UNDER in their last 15 after having done so. The Huskies are a solid UNDER play after allowing 275 yards or fewer in their previous game at 8-3 in their last 11. The last five in this series have all fallen shy of the total, and I don't see that changing. Play the UNDER.
