For the last two seasons the Huskies have had trouble moving the ball as they simply don't have a reliable QB. Chandler Whitmer won the job this season, but he has been reckless as he already has 10 INTs on the season to just four TDs. Kyle McCoombs gets almost all the work out of the backfield, but the Huskies offensive front is rebuilt and the 4.2 yards per carry last season has been reduced to 3.6 this year. The bottom line is that the Huskies are challenged offensively. The Owls are very healthy and have BC transfer Montel Harris back and he rushed for 133 yards in a big win vs. South Florida. He also ran for 1000+ yards twice at BC, so he has made a difference offensively. The Huskies are strong defensively, but have had trouble because of their sloppy and stagnant offense. UConn is just 1-5-1 ATS after allowing 20 or less, and the Owls have had success on the road at 13-6 ATS in their last 19. Play on Temple.
