TCU at West Virginia

One of the biggest surprises in the Big-12 this year has been West Virginia, as the Mountaineers sit at 5-0 on the season. The TCU offense lost their best QB in history to graduation and a lot of skill players, but have still remained somewhat above average, despite returning just three offensive starters. The defense, while not what we have seen in the past, remains strong. The difference maker for West Virginia this season has been much better than advertised. In fact, four of their five opponents have scored 21 points or less. Perhaps most impressive was what they did last week to Texas Tech, holding the Red Raiders to just 17 points. The last time the Red Raiders failed to top the 17-point mark was in 2014. West Virginia is poised to control the TCU aerial attack as they have been one of the best in the nation, allowing 6.2 passing yards per attempt to a schedule of teams that average 7.6. The Mountaineers own a 17-5 mark to the UNDER over the last three years as a favorite. Under Coach Holgersen they are 9-1 to the UNDER when coming off two conference wins in a row. WVA is also 16-4 UNDER the past two and a half seasons in conferene play. This one stays UNDER. Play it as my CFB Totals Game of the Month!
