TCU at Iowa State

TCU has a high-flying offense, but this defense is also outstanding and experienced, allowing 17, 7 and 7 points in three of its six wins. The Horned Frogs' 51.0 points per game and 615.5 offensive average both rank third in the country, which is why this total is so high. TCU is not off a good defensive game, but the UNDER is 4-0 after the Horned Frogs allow more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game. They face a well coached Iowa State squad under Paul Rhoads, one that broke down defensively last season because of a ton of injuries, but they've been much healthier in 2015. Iowa State allowed just seven points against Northern Iowa in the opener and was solid in losses to Iowa and Toledo, both of whom are now ranked. Iowa State plays a ball-control style on offense behind mobile senior QB Sam Richardson and an improved ground game with freshman RB Mike Warren (574 yards, 8.1 yards per carry). They will look to control the football and the clock to keep the TCU offense off the field. Iowa State is on a 7-1-1 run UNDER the total, 4-0-1 UNDER at home, as well as 35-17-1 UNDER on natural grass. TCU won its last trip to Ames, but by just a 21-17 score in 2013. The Cyclones are 6-0 UNDER the total after a defeat and will bring their A-game defensively with an unbeaten top 10 foe in town. Back the UNDER.
