Syracuse at NC State

Syracuse has won two of three to get to .500 with a shot at a bowl. They lost 17-14 to Clemson as a 2-TD underdog, a 40-37 loss to No. 10 Wake Forest, a 33-30 loss at Florida State, a 24-21 victory over Liberty as a TD-dog, and a 41-36 win at Virginia Tech as a dog. RB Sean Tucker leads the nation in yards from scrimmage and is second in rushing yards (1,362) averaging 6.2 yards per carry. NC State has split its last four games, losing 31-30 to Miami as a favorite and a tough 45-42 loss to Wake Forest Forest last week. In addition, Louisiana Tech was a +18 dog to NC State but ran for 135 yards on them in a 34-27 final...and the Syracuse strength is rushing the football. These rivals played a close one last year with the Orange leading 29-27 in the fourth before NC State rallied. The visitors have more than enough to keep this close and steal a win.
