Syracuse at Florida State

Florida St. brought back just about everyone from a very good team a year ago. The Seminoles have started the season at 5-0, but have not been as dominant as expected. They have outgained their five opponents on average 430-383. The offense has been good, but not great, and the defense has been somewhat disappointing, as it has barely been above average. Syracuse started 4-0 but lost big to Clemson and North Carolina to slip to 4-2. The one thing Syracuse has been good at is turning their opponent over as the Orange defense has turned the opponent over an average of 2 times per contest. Florida St. has allowed three opponents to go for over 400 yards, and with Duke on deck, this game could turn out to be a lot closer than it looks. Since coming to Syracuse Dino Baber's team is 9-2 ATS vs. a team that averages 37 or more points per game. I like Syracuse in this one.
