Syracuse at Florida State

This has been the most frustrating year at Florida State than any year over the past three decades, maybe longer. It started with a competitive loss to Alabama, and fell apart when QB Deandre Francois went down in their next game with a season-ending knee injury. That forced a true freshman QB that weighs 169 pounds into service, and while the talent is there, his size, maturity, and lack of experience have all worked against him. Injuries have further hampered the Seminoles, particularly on defense, and the injury list for this game is 17 players long. Not even the great Florida State can survive this. Syracuse can play fast and effective on offense and with so many injuries, they will wear out a now thin Seminoles defense. Syracuse was able to beat Clemson, and Florida State and is getting to much respect here as a 2-5 team that obviously is not up to usual standards. Take the points on Syracuse.
