Stanford vs. Oklahoma State

The Fiesta Bowl has a powerhouse matchup with the Stanford Cardinal at 11-1 on the season facing another 11-1 team in the Oklahoma State Cowboys. This comes down to a consolation game, and the team that was most slighted was the Oklahoma St. Cowboys. They felt they deserved a shot at LSU in the National Championship game instead of an Alabama team that already had their shot. It will be hard for them to bring their "A" game in what could have been, but is not. This one comes down to the best QB on the college level vs. a pass-defense that is ranked No. 102 in the country. What has saved the Cowboys this season is their ability to get interceptions and turn their opponent over. The problem here is facing an NFL caliber QB that simply doesn't make mistakes, and he will burn this secondary for what it will give him. The Stanford offense is every bit as good as the Cowboy's offense, but another difference is that the Stanford defense is capable of getting more stops. Play on Stanford in this one.
