Stanford at Washington

Premium Pick

Stanford was fortunate to pull out a win at UCLA while Washington had to go overtime to defeat Arizona as both teams managed to remain undefeated.  The Cardinal is averaging 25 points and allowing only 12. The Huskies are averaging 45.8 points per game while allowing just 14.5. Washington scored a combined 107 points in wins over Rutgers, and Idaho, but obviously facing the Stanford defense will be a different story. These teams have gone UNDER nine of the last 12 meetings and five of the last six in Washington. Also, Stanford has gone UNDER in 13 of its last 19 road games and eight of its last 10 in the month of September. The Cardinal defense held UCLA to 77 rushing yards on 2.3 yards per carry and is allowing only 95.3 rushing yards per game this season. The Huskies actually have slightly overall better defensive stats, allowing 320.8 yards per contest compared to 337.7 for Stanford. The Cardinal offense still is adjusting to replacing Kevin Hogan at QB and three new starters on the offensive line as all three of its games have gone UNDER by substantial margins this season. Play the UNDER.
