It's the first road game for South Florida...and they head to the SEC! South Florida faced a Top 25 team in the opener and got crushed at home by BYU, 50-21. They surrendered 573 yards (312 rushing) and it could have been worse as BYU led 38-7 at the half. QB Gerry Bohanon (0 TDs, 2 INTs) came over from Baylor and is learning the offense. The Bulls are off a 2-10 campaign in 2021, which included a 42-20 loss at home to Florida. The defense was ranked #123 in the country allowing 476 yards, 35 points per game, and doesn't look any better. Florida gets to catch its breath after opening the year against Top 20 teams. They topped No. 7 Utah, 29-26, before falling to No. 20 Kentucky, 26-16, so the Gators won't be in a good mood.
