South Carolina vs. Notre Dame

South Carolina had a terrific season winning eight games in the rugged SEC. After a 1-2 start, including losing to No. 1 Georgia, the Gamecocks won seven of nine. That included a 24-14 win over No. 13 Kentucky, a 63-38 rout of No. 5 Tennessee as a +22 dog, and a 31-30 win at No. 8 Clemson as a +14 dog. QB Spencer Rattler (16 TDs, 11 INTs) threw for 438 and 360 yards in the last two games in those upsets over Tennessee and Clemson. South Carolina is 8-1 ATS in non-conference games. While South Carolina has its starting quarterback, Notre Dame just lost QB Drew Pyne (22 TDs, 6 INTs), who transferred to Arizona State. Sophomore QB Tyler Buchner (0 TDs, 2 INTs) hasn't played since September and freshman Steve Angeli may see some time.
