Missouri is home and favored but has a lot of problems. The Tigers suffered a loss at Kentucky the last game 21-13. The offense has been terrible despite a 3-1 record, but 0-4 against the spread. Missouri QB Maty Mauk has been suspended for South Carolina game. Backup freshman Drew Lock will start after playing at least one first-half series in each of the team's four games. Missouri linebacker Kentrell Brothers, the nation’s leading tackler with 52 stops, is questionable with a sprained ankle and minor knee injury. Missouri's offense ranks #115 in the nation, averaging just 20.75 points per game and the Tigers are on a 1-5 ATS run. Meanwhile South Carolina is 15-8 SU in its last 23 games. Star WR Pharoh Cooper remains one of the SEC's most dangerous playmakers. He leads Steve Spurrier's offense with 17 catches for 220 yards and two touchdowns, plus 81 yards rushing - a versatile weapon. South Carolina is off a 31-14 win over a good Central Florida defense. Missouri is 1-2 against the Gamecocks since joining the SEC in 2012. Last season the Tigers squeezed out a 21-20 victory over the Gamecocks continuing a trend: The last two games were decided by wild finishes, both won by the visiting team. This one will also be close, so grab the very live visiting dog and play South Carolina.
