South Carolina at Kentucky

Kentucky has beaten South Carolina outright two years in a row, both times as an underdog. This year the Wildcats are a small favorite as the Gamecocks are rebuilding  under new coach Will Muschamp whose team is 2-1 but has averaged just 15.7 points per game, ranking #123 in the nation. South Carolina beat East Carolina 20-15 on Saturday as Brandon McIlwain was 16-of-28 for 195 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions. David Williams rushed for 67 yards on seven carries as the Gamecocks managed 312 total offense yards. They helped their cause by forcing three turnovers deep in their own territory. Kentucky broke loose after losing its first two games with a 62-42 win over New Mexico State, which is ranked #124 in scoring defense compared to #28 for South Carolina. The Wildcats ran the ball 51 times and QB Stephen Johnson was 17-of-22 for 310 yards and three touchdowns. Johnson was filling in for injured starter Drew Barker and will likely start again as Barker is very doubtful for this game. Kentucky has the edge offensively in this matchup, however, it won't be as prolific as it was against New Mexico State. South Carolina has gone UNDER in six of its last seven games and four of its last five road games. Play both Kentucky on the moneyline and the UNDER.
