South Carolina at Florida

This was supposed to be a rebuilding year for South Carolina, but new coach Will Muschamp has his team on a three-game winning streak. Last week was their third straight in a 31-21 win over Missouri and the previous week won 24-21 win against Tennessee. Freshman Jake Bentley was 22-of-28 for 254 yards and a touchdown for the Gamecocks and Rico Dowdle rushed for 149 yards on 27 carries for the Gamecocks. Meanwhile, Florida lost its quarterback again as Luke Del Rio is out with a shoulder injury he suffered in the Gators' 31-10 loss to Arkansas. Del Rio was 19-of-37 for 229 yards and two interceptions and his team gained a microscopic 12 yards on the ground on 14 carries. The Gamecocks' defense has held steady this season even before the winning streak and should match up well in this contest. Florida appears vulnerable against an improving opponent, so play South Carolina on the moneyline.
