South Alabama at UL Monroe

South Alabama is making strides under new coach Kane Wommack and the Jaguars come off an impressive 41-14 victory over Georgia Southern after building a 31-0 first-half lead and racking up 405 passing yards. Jake Bentley completed 24 of 31 for 389 yards and three touchdowns and no interceptions for the Jaguars and Jalen Tolbert caught 11 passes for 174 yards. UL Monroe is improving in Terry Bowden's first year as coach and shocked Liberty on a late 53-yard field goal to win 31-28 as a 32.5-point underdog. This was after the Warhawks had been trounced by a combined 114-27 their previous two games against Coastal Carolina and Georgia State. Obviously, South Alabama won't take this opponent lightly as Liberty must have done. The Jaguars are 6-1-1 UNDER their last eight games following a win and the last three meetings have stayed UNDER. The Jaguars won the 2020 meeting 38-14 and it went UNDER by five points and they are 10-3 UNDER their past 13 road games. Take South Alabama and the UNDER.
