What more needs to be said about what Case Keenum has accomplished on the field this season? He has led the Cougars to a perfect 10-0 mark and will finish the year with just about every significant QB record in college football. This year he has thrown for just shy of 4,000 yards with 37 TDs and just 3 INTs. He has never lost a home game vs. a non-BCS Conference team in his stellar career. The Cougars can score from anywhere on the field, but before you think this is a passing-only team, note that the Cougars have scored 28 TDs on the ground and their top four running backs are all generating 5.8 yards per carry or better. They are averaging over 66 points per game in their last four games. SMU has really slipped over the last four weeks and the defense which was good early, is getting beat for 28.3 ppg over their last four. It will be an improbable task to hold this Houston offensive machine down on the road. In games with lots of expected scoring (total over 70), Houston is 11-3 ATS the past three seasons. The Cougars are also 11-1 ATS as a home favorite over that same span. Houston gets it done again. Play on the Cougars.
