San Jose State won last year's meeting 49-23 and Fresno State is a lot worse this year with a 1-10 record and a loser of nine straight, including 14-13 against Hawaii on Saturday. Quarterback Zach Kline has not thrown a touchdown pass in six appearances for the Bulldogs this season and he was 13-of-23 for 108 yards against Hawaii. San Jose State has covered the number in four of its last five games and five of its last seven games against teams with losing records. The Spartans racked up 457 yards offense in last week's 41-38 loss to Air Force as an 11.5-point underdog. Kenny Potter was 25-of-37 for 340 yards with two touchdowns and Tim Crawley caught 11 passes for 147 yards. Fresno State has averaged only 11.5 points in its last five games while the Spartans have put up at least 30 their last three contests. San Jose State has won three of the last four meetings outright, so take them in this one.
