Sacramento State went UNDER eight of its final nine games in 2023 and the Hornets have gone UNDER their past four meetings against Mountain West Conference opponents. San Jose State hired former Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo, who still hasn't decided on a starting quarterback in an offense that will take time to come together especially with Niumatalolo's unfamiliarity after running an option offense all those years with the Midshipmen. The Spartans have gone UNDER four of their past five Thursday games. Sacramento State lost to South Dakota in the FCS playoffs and the Hornets allowed 27.2 points per game last season.
