Southern Miss at UL Monroe

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles were once upon a time one of the best mid-major programs in the country. They had 18 straight winning seasons. They have been just a woeful 58-94 SU since. They own just one win on the season, and that came against an FCS school. LA Monroe has been very good on defense, but trying to cover a TD with a team that has struggled offensively becomes a problem. The Warhawks have scored just 37 total points in their last three games or just 12.3 PPG. I love taking dogs when there is a TD spread or more, and a low total (42 or less). These teams are always in the game, and have a back door possibility in many of them as well. Make the play on Southern Miss.
