Southern Miss at South Alabama

South Alabama exploded for a 55-7 rout of UL Monroe as a 10.5-point favorite on Oct. 7 with 589 total yards and Carter Bradley completed 20 of 29 for 303 yards and three TDs with no interceptions for a 146.1 QB rating. La'Damian Webb rushed for 100 yards on 5.3 yards per carry and the Warhawks were held to only 250 total offense yards. The Jaguars have an opportunity for another big win against Southern Miss, which is 1-5 and the only win was against FCS Alcorn State in the season opener. The Golden Eagles have failed to cover their past five games and they allow 35.3 points per game, which is #122 in the country. Southern Miss QB Billy Wiles was 15 of 26 for 166 yards with no TDs against the Monarchs and running back Frank Gore Jr. managed to gain just 66 yards on 29 carries. The Golden Eagles are 0-6 ATS as road dogs of more than 10 points off a straight-up favorite loss and 2-10 ATS in weekday road games. Take South Alabama.
