Southern Miss at Memphis

The Sothern Miss Golden eagles have had a long streak of winning seasons and Bowl games. All good things must come to an end, but not all come with a loud thud. The Golden eagles are 0-11 on the season and are looking like a team that is not going to win a game this season. They almost got a win at mid-season before falling to Central Florida in overtime, and that deflated them. They went on to lose 59-24 as a 4 point favorite at home vs. Marshall. Last week it looked like they may get their first win vs. UTEP, but a failed 2 point coversion left them on the short end of a 34-33 defeat. That sets up a similar deflating situation vs. Memphis, a team that knows all about losing. The Tigers were 6-39 over their last 45 games until three weeks ago. They have won their last two and have to be feeling it, because they have been on the other side for so long. They also lost to Sothern Miss 44-7 in their finale last season, so they have a payback opportunity here. Take Memphis.
