Southern Miss at Louisiana Tech

Southern Miss has made a major improvement defensively allowing only 18.8 points per game compared to 29 last season and the Golden Eagles have gone UNDER seven of their last nine games, including last week's 24-0 shutout of UTEP that went UNDER by 28.5 points. The Miners were held to a minuscule 0.8 yards per rush and only 147 total offense yards. Southern Miss won last year's meeting 39-24 and it stayed UNDER by 8.5 points and five of the last six meetings have gone UNDER. Louisiana Tech went UNDER for the fourth straight game in its 23-22 loss to UAB on Oct. 7. The Bulldogs have a reputation of lighting up the scoreboard, but they are averaging a mediocre 28.0 points per game this season. Southern Miss is 9-3-1 UNDER its last 13 October games and Louisiana Tech is 6-1 UNDER after a bye week. Also, the Golden Eagles have stayed UNDER four of their last five after an ATS win.  Back the UNDER.
