Southern Miss at Appalachian State

Southern Miss QB Billy Wiles has more TDs than interceptions and gets help from RBs Rodrigues Clark (369 yards, 6.7 yards per carry) and Frank Gore Jr. (434 yards). They come off a bad loss at South Alabama, but were very competitive in their previous three games, losing at Arkansas State (44-37), Texas State (50-36), and Old Dominion (17-13). Appalachian State is a huge favorite but has a losing record while on a 5-13 spread run, including 1-10 ATS in conference play. QB Ryan Burger (finger) is still out and QB Joey Aguilar has seven TDs and three picks in his last four starts.
