Rutgers vs. Notre Dame

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were playing for a National Championship a year ago. This year they have to settle for a minimal Bowl against an uninspiring opponent. They will be hard pressed to get the energy going for this one. Rutgers has had an up and down year, but playing close to campus here has been a proven success over the years in Bowl games. Add the fact that they draw Notre Dame and that is going to have the Scarlet Knights ready to play here. Notre Dame has a storied tradition of being one of the top programs in the country, but that has not led to success in Bowl games. In fact, the Irish are an unthinkable 0-10, both straight up and ATS when taking on a Bowl opponent off a win in their last 10. Rutgers will surely be the more motivated team here, and grabbing a pair of TDs+ is the way to go in this one. Play on Rutgers.
