The Scarlet Knights have just one blemish on the season that came in a sloppy turnover-plagued game vs. Kent State. When you play Kent State, Tulane, Army, and Howard, plus an Arkansas team that was awful in your out-of-conference schedule, you’re supposed to have a good record. But, the Scarlet Knights are not by most standards a one-loss team. They have their three toughest games of the season yet to be played, and it starts in Cincinnati. The Bearcats are 7-2, and are 9 points from being perfect on the season. The difference is that they have gotten here by playing and beating some good teams. Rutgers has a poor offense despite the weak schedule that leaves them No. 6 in the conference in total yards. They also sit dead last in red-zone efficiency, which won't help them against the better teams. Jawan Jamison has been their only weapon, and he is only 50-50 to even play here. Cincinnati has a balanced and explosive offense, probably the best Rutgers has seen all season, and will test their solid defense. The Bearcats are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 and a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last six conference tilts. Play on Cincinnati.
