Rice at Connecticut

The University of Connecticut has been down for a long time, but at 4-3 on the season, they have won more games already than all but one of the last seven years. Their three losses have come against all teams from a Power 4 conference. They gave up 33 PPG in those three contests. All other games, the Huskies are allowing just 12.5 PPG. Rice is scoring 16.7 PPG in their five contests vs. FBS opponents, and the defense, after a slow start vs. good competition, is allowing 24 PPG over their last three. I think this game has a big upside to be a low scoring game, when you take out the matchups vs. much better competition. I like the UNDER in this one.
