Purdue at Wisconsin

Purdue football was becoming almost laughable. This is a team that had not won 10 games in over 35 years, and was 9-39 over the last four. That is changing and changing fast. Jeff Brohm was hired as coach, and just like he did at Western Kentucky, he had an immediate impact. The Hilltoppers became a winner in his first year and won 22 games over the next two. He has Purdue at 3-2 so far this season, already equalling the number of wins they achieved in any of the past four seasons. Wisconsin has been a strong contender in the Big-10 for many years, and at 5-0 will be again this season. Brohm lost by just seven points to Louisville, had Michigan in the third quarter before wilting, and just beat Minnesota by two TDs. Wisconsin can take perceived bad teams lightly, under-performing at home vs. both Northwestern and Florida Atlantic, and they better be ready to play int his one because there is a different culture and growing confidence in Purdue, and they have shown up for every game.
