Huge game in the Big Ten in the Twin Cities. Purdue does not have Michigan or Ohio State on the schedule this season, so a win here sets them up nicely to run the table. They'll have their hands full with Maroney. Purdue has dominated this series over the years going 9-2 against the spread versus the Gophers since 1992. Minnesota is also only 6-19 ATS after 2 consecutive games where they committed 1 or less turnovers since 1992. Minnesota is somewhat of an unknown commodity in that they've beat up on some pretty weak competition in Tulsa, Colorado State and Florida Atlantic. Meanwhile, the Boilers have a stout defense and should have some success shutting down the Gophers powerful running game. Purdue is 8-0 under Joe Tiller in Big Ten openers. Two stars on the Boilers and the points here.
