Purdue at Indiana

This will be the last game for both of these teams that each enter this contest at 3-8, and have both had disappointing seasons. The Hoosiers had a promising beginning to their season as they started 3-2, which included a big win over Missouri. It all came tumbling down when they lost their QB Nate Sudfeld. The Hoosiers became one dimensional at that point, and have not had a whisper of a passing attack as replacement QB Zander Diamont has thrown for a woeful 3.7 yards per attempt and just one TD. The result has been an 0-6 record that has seen the defense allow 42 points or more in four of the six, and 34 in another while the offense has topped out at 27, and very often less. With five straight losses, Purdue has not been much of a bargain either, but the Boilermakers have had five tough games, and are able to move the ball better, while the now one-dimensional Hoosiers won't be able to keep up.
