Pittsburgh at Rutgers

Pitt barely made it through their non conference schedule this season and really should have beaten Nebraska in Lincoln two Saturdays ago. The Panthers are not as bad as they looked in their first three games and they are coming off a 41-0 confidence-boosting win (yes, it was Youngstown State but still, 41-0 builds confidence). Pitt has needed time to work out the kinks and we think they have. Meanwhile Rutgers has been terrible historically off the bye (4-16 ATS off last twenty). Pitt has more talent and they should pick it up headed into the Big East. Winning home teams at +3 to 3 after failing to cover the spread in 2 out of their last 3 games are just 29-65 since 1992. One star on the Panthers in this one.
