Pittsburgh at Oklahoma State

Pitt heads out on the road for the first time, a balanced offense behind QB Nate Peterman and RB James Conner. Connor is a talented back, but he's coming back from a serious injury, averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Pitt has an experienced offensive line and took the air out of the ball last week against Penn State. They used a heavy ground attack, and the game plan left the receivers mostly as decoys and blockers. Pittsburgh is 11-5-1 UNDER the total on fieldturf. Oklahoma State returns seven starters on defense and is allowing 19.5 points per game. It would be less than that if the officials hadn't messed up last week, giving Central Michigan an extra play, which they turned into a miracle TD on the final play. Even so, they stuffed the CMU ground game allowing just 2.2 yards per carry. That game still went UNDER the total, and five of the last seven Cowboy games in non-conference play have gone UNDER.
