Pittsburgh at North Carolina

This is an interesting ACC matchup as North Carolina is all about offense, and Pitt, usually a much better defensive team, has become a lot more offensive this year. It is a critical game for both teams, as they both come in at 4-5 on the season and the loser will have to win their last two games to become Bowl eligible. That may be extremely difficult given the fact that North Carolina travels to Duke in their next game, and Pitt closes the season at Miami. It is likely that a loss in this one will finish the losing team's pursuit of a Bowl game, so a lot is on the line. The Pitt Panthers actually have a slight edge on both sides of the ball, and are the better running team, which puts them in line to close the game out in the fourth quarter. The Panthers appear vulnerable after a poor defensive showing, allowing 51 to Duke, but they are 8-1 ATS after allowing 40+ in their previous game, and have a strong history of bouncing back off a loss where they are 23-8-1 ATS in their last 32 following a setback.
