Penn State vs. Maryland

Maryland severed ties with Head Coach Randy Edsel during their bye week, as Edsel seemed to have lost a lot of the players and there have been rumblings of his firing for weeks. Maryland has been brutally bad over the last three weeks, losing all three games by a combined score of 122-34. The Terps are going to have trouble shaking out of their offensive doldrums, as Penn State is an elite defensive team, both against the run and the pass. The Penn State offense is pedestrian, but the Terrapins have allowed 40.7 points per game over their last three, and I see no reason why the Nittany Lions won't be able to produce an ample number of points for the cover. Penn State enters at 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 following a spread loss, while the Terps own a 1-11 ATS mark following a spread win. Give the points on Penn State.
