Penn State at Northwestern

Paterno's team is not good enough to be laying this many points to an underrated Northwestern bunch. Penn St. is 0-9 ATS after allowing 14 points or less last game over the last 3 seasons. Northwestern is also 7-0 ATS as an underdog of 3.5 to 10 points over the last 3 seasons. Northwestern will rely on the play of QB Basenz, who was highly sought after out of high school. Penn State has not played anyone to date, and while the Wildcats were spanked a bit by ASU last weekend, the experience will help them here.
